I am a qualified Reiki Practitioner (Master/Teacher Level), having trained in Usui Ryoho Reiki.
Reiki, which is Japanese for “universal life force”, is a form of energy healing, where I work with a client to rebalance the chakras (energy centres) either hands-on or remotely. We are all made up of energy and from time to time we can find that work, circumstances and other people can drain or block our energy, resulting in dis-ease, stress or emotional issues.
We are all born with the power to heal ourselves. Our bodies are in a constant state of maintaining balance. Reiki is the energy that connects our higher self with everything around us.
Clients are made to feel comfortable, lying fully clothed on a massage table, with relaxing music, dim lighting and scented oils in a quiet and private room. I also incorporate crystals depending on the individual’s needs.
Reiki is a non-invasive therapy. Each session can vary depending on the person and how they are feeling at the time of the treatment. It works on all levels; mind, body and spirit, drawing the Reiki energy to where it is needed in the body at that particular time. It brings clarity and focus, helping you to cope with the everyday challenges that we face in our busy and hectic lives.
You may have some questions that need answering about the treatment and how you will feel afterwards. Hopefully, this section will answer whatever queries you may have, however, the best way to find out is to experience it for yourself.
If after reading the information below you still have further questions, please do not hesitate to email me at email@example.com or call me on +61 411 713 322.
A typical treatment lasts for one hour with a five-minute consultation beforehand and a five-minute evaluation afterwards.
Your first session will include a full consultation discussing your health and lifestyle, and which areas you would like to focus on.
The treatment is very relaxing, and hopefully, you will drift off into a deep revitalising sleep. You may experience a variety of sensations such as heat, cold, tingling or buzzing. You may hear, see or feel things, but keep in mind that each session is unique and your experiences may be different every time.
How Will You Feel After A Treatment?
Everybody feels differently after a treatment as we are all individual and react to things accordingly. You have to listen to your body and go with it. If you feel tired, rest; if you feel energised, go for it. It is personal to you so just make time for yourself and be aware of how your body/mind is feeling.
Please ensure that you drink plenty of water after a treatment, to help with the readjustment of energy in the body and the release of toxins.
How often should I have Reiki sessions?
Reiki energy will continue to flow to where it is needed after your session with me, however, I encourage people to come back for regular sessions, usually around once a month. It's a bit like owning a car, it runs so much better when you service it regularly!
Each session will most likely be different to the last, and we can track progress on the areas that you are working on, be it physical, emotional or mental.
Where Do I Work From?
I work from my private residence just out of Naracoorte, South Australia.
I also offer distance sessions where you can relax in the comfort your own home while I send the energy to you, just like I would if you were with me in person. For more information on Distance Reiki, please read my blog 'Distance Reiki - how do I do that?'
